Dr. Lorenzo Vidino - Head of the George Washington University Center for Cyber and Homeland Security's Program on Extremism"

The Head of the George Washington University Center for Cyber and Homeland Security's Program on Extremism Dr. Lorenzo Vidino has filed a motion to dismiss a civil case brought by a Muslim academic who claims Vidino violated his rights because of Vidino's work on extremism.

Lorenzo claims in his documents filed on 18 October 2024 that this civil case is a giant nothing burger. Lorenzo is arguing that the plaintiff Farid Hafez's case is based on bad evidence and misinterpreting the law.
