Patriot Front keeps losing in this civil case against the hate group in Richmond, Virginia. They tried to get the case dismissed. That didn't work. Then they tried to do something called "certifying" the case. I don't have any idea what that motion meant (what's an interlocutor?), but the judge denied it. Now this week, the judge has set a pretrial conference ahead a court trial.
The judge did something else that I don't understand. After setting the pretrial conference, the judge also issued and order that both parties consider a magistrate judge instead of a trial.
Once again, I have no idea what that means. I also have no idea if the plaintiffs will want this, I feel like they wont this, that they will want an actual trial.
On 20 January 2025, Trump pardoned some 1,500 people convicted for their involvement in the January 6 insurrection to overthrow the government.
